Hi, everyone...

        I know this is way OT, but I know of no other place to ask for expert
opinion, so pls. bear with me.

        I have a Panasonic CW-7502-B cd writer from Taiwan which my brother
gave me . The problem is when i first use it it was ok but when i
rebooted my system (Windows 98 2nd edition, AMD K6-II 450 Mhz, Acer Labs
Aladdin V Motherboard), the cd writer seems to have no power at all. And
I have to disconnect the power connector for some time then reconnect it
again before turning on the computer again. But when i rebooted with the
cd drive open, it work fine. I'm quite at lost with this symptoms and
i'm hoping you can share your view about this problem. Any pointers will
be gratefully appreciated....
