Sam, Glad to hear that you managed to get your problem solved. There is another way you could have solved the problem. >From the setup disk run FDISK. DELETE all partitions. Reboot. Now when the setup files run they will find a pristine system and will be happy to partition and format the disk for you automatically. Where you went wrong initially was when you manually re-partitioned. Instead, let setup find the disk unpartitioned, and then IT will take over and partition and format and you won't get any more stupid error messages. Fr.
