A very bright programer once worked for me who felt that
"unnecessary <newlines> (CR/LF) and spaces got in the way (in 'C')"
and further "longwinded names also got in the way" < started
at 'a', 'b'......'z' then went to 'aa', 'ab'...'az' etc.>.

I hope his next employer found it as entertaining and 'paper
saving' as I did.
