Jameco distributes small geared motors in the range you are talking about.
Go to www.jameco.com and search on GH12-0953Y for a start - look at the
other GH12 series while you are there. $14.95 to $19.95 USD.

I have used the 100:1 ratio motors for robots and they work fine. You can
see them in place on a 7" wide platform (gives you a better idea of size) at
