The original printers were two: a Brother HL-720 laser, and an Epson Stylus PhotoEX. Jus to update, I have been trying to use Borland Pascal 7.0 in a DOS window to send form feeds, line feeds, etc, along with strings, etc. The Brother will not respond to anything I send it. I am about to try modifying an existing 8051 based product with a parallel port to send out a form feed first. These two printers I am using are not bottom of the line. They should take ASCII if any of them will.
