Hey Picsters

Does anyone have a link, page, info, schematic for a capacitive discharge
ignition system to convert standard points, condenser, coil to high energy,
pulsed discharge? Since the commercial varieties (CraneCams, Universal,
Compufire, Jacobs) all use a timing pickup sensor, uP, caps and SCR, I bet
someone has hacked it or developed one for educational purposes. I would be
nice to be able to program the advance curve, dwell, rpm limiter, etc. for a
4 cylinder engine and directly see the effects of the modifications.

Any info would be helpful
