TBH, it was something never finished. I intended to, as I've a box of these very flat light HDD motors and want to know exactly how to drive them. There are three pairs of n- and p- channels FETs, a pair at each corner of the triangle to give an "H" driver for each coil. I did get it to move by supplying a three-channel rotating pulse but that was as far as I got. Paul is right about a floppy motor board but I always left those as complete units, sorry. As those have an on/off connection then is the rotation speed set within the driver circuitry ? Perhaps there's a timing component that could be made a variable ?
