The microphone is NOT CONNected so its not > from that either... any ideas? > Yeah, it's your flyback transformer. If it's not doing it all the time, it just may be a bit loose on the circuit board. If you're brave enough, pop the cover off and squirt a bit of silicone around the base of the it. (It's a black rectangular box with a red or black HV wire coming straight out of the top and connects to the CRT). You can also run the monitor and wiggle the transformer before gooping it up. Don't touch anything else if you're not familiar with the spots where HV can be. Otherwise send it for service. If it's doing it all the time, there are loose windings around the core internally. If you can stand it (yeah right), you can let it go till it fails. Aaron
