TMS should be on the Texas site somewhere, I've never needed to look for it as I've already got data. I was paying NZ$7 to NZ$8 per (US$4) The basic module is a 3478, 1 to 4 DRAMs (256kb to 1Mb), audio amp if needed and 4 pushbuttons. Not to hard to make yourself if you can do your own PCB. My original on a 50x110 PCB is a complete unit. Single-side will do if you can put up with a few links. Very straight-forward. AYS though, ISD is simple but to me the trade-off with quality was unacceptable. The tricky bit is copying data from the DRAM into a file for export into EPROM or SRAM for applications that require phrase selection over and above just selecting individual DRAMs but a 10MHz PIC copes quite easily. If necessary the DRAM can be slowed quite considerably before data starts to be lost. Let me know if you can't find a page and I'll scan my data and PCB, and if you do find the page could you let me know please.
