Did you really mean 160-1145-ND? That is a yellow LED according to the Digikey search engine. I have used the Jameco PN 131908 from Jameco (an Everlight module). It works the same as the Sharp but the case doesn't need to be grounded. If you would like to read about some of my experiments with the modules (both Sharp and Everlight) check out http://204.233.101.40/robots/ir.html Dan ----- Original Message ----- From: Rodman R Shepherd To: Sent: Thursday, November 04, 1999 11:48 PM Subject: Need 40 Khz IR Module info? > Hi all, > > > I have just bought five of the new 40 Khz IR modules from Digi-Key > #160-1145-ND > to use with my mobile robots obstacle-detecting system. > > Dose the new 40KHz IRM, setup like the old sharp GP1U52X?? > I'm looking for a schematic so I can use my new 40 Khz IRM with a > pic16f84 or my basic stamp1. > > Thank > You for your time > > Jim > > ___________________________________________________________________ > Get the Internet just the way you want it. > Free software, free e-mail, and free Internet access for a month! > Try Juno Web: http://dl.www.juno.com/dynoget/tagj.
