> I have sourced all the parts from DigiKey, who measures the components > in 'mm' or inches. Either I have to convert all of my documents 'mils' > to mm, or I need to find somewhere that lists 'common' parts > footprints. For example, 1N4002 axial lead diode: is it D0-7, DO-14, > DO-15, DO-16,etc. Anyone know a catalog that designates its parts in > JEDEC formats? Sure don't.. And sometimes the drawings are on centerline, and sometimes they are reffed to some arbitrary point. Look in the Digikey cap section, even within the panasonic parts, some are in mils, and some are in mm, and some that are dimmed in mm, were clearly designed for an inch system... :-P I've always found it best to do my own footprints, and ref them to digikey part numbers if applicable.
