I use to run EL backlight from 220V 50Hz with only a 300k to 500k resistor in se ries. I guess I need about 110V at around 400 Hertz. Too slow a frequency to use a PIC pin to drive an oscillator, and too much increase for a charge pump circuit...want to avoid special DC-DC converters and such, and the available little pcb inverters are really expensive, if you can find them. Any suggestions?? Thanks Bill Kichman, P.E. Cornwall, PA
