Hi i just got my EPIC programmer and when i plug in my PIC16C84 and try to progr
am with the sample program they give u and another sample hex file i have it say
s invalid something at address 0000...however when i read the chip all the space
s where of course 3FFF and while that was loaded into the program area i hit the
 WRITE button and it did indeed write to the chip all 3fff's but it does work.
So am i to assume the problem is in my code?? but it assembled fine no errors..?
???

Also anyone know if its possible to program Serial EEPROMS or PIC16C54's through
 the EPIC?  I know u cant do '54's with their software anyway...but maybe there
is another pic i can select that will make the program think its a differnt PIC
thats plugged in..???
