Hi Martin,

You aren't trying to download the PDF files,are you? AFAIK, the docs on the
web site are almost all in PDF format,which will not directly decode to
ASCII, you would need some kind of other software to turn it into an ASCII
file. (I appologize if you already know this and I misunderstand your
question)

In addition, there seems to be (at least, as of a few months ago - it still
happens to me) a consensus that the large tables on the Mchip pages cause
long delays (several seconds) between when the page is actually loaded and
when it gets displayed. I am using Netscape 4.xx, perhaps that happens in
Lynx,too, OR it somehow confuses Lynx?
