Hi,

I've bought a couple of Hitachi LM211 LCD displays 480x64 pixels(from
B.G. Micro).
These displays have column drivers, but no row drivers or controller. Has
anyone ever used one of these displays. I want to use them in conjunction
with a PIC. A PIC could of course take care of the serial row data, but
there must be more clever ways of controlling these displays. BTW I can
find nothing of interest on the semiconductor.hitachi.com site.
These displays were designed in 1983, kinda old.

Any help, pointers etc appreciated.
