In computer jargon, it reads: "I am sending you a HOAX". Every single post containing this statement (may include the keyword "Microsoft" as well/ alternative) is a hoax, or related to a hoax. But your research so far has I hope ingrained this plain fact upon your mind. > Some people don't like to read posts about viruses, Unfortunately because the *vast majority* are time-wasters. > and I hope they are lucky enough to not acquire one that will make > them shut up for quite some time. And do you not also know of one of his most *powerful* weapons? It is called *gossip*. Gossip has destroyed good people, and will continue to do so. That is the subtle trap in these virus hoaxes. The vector (human who spreads the virus/ hoax) is infected through their own selfish desire to big-note themself by being the first to spread the *gossip* as far as possible, not taking into account their failure to use commonsense and the prudence to *check* the information first with someone who knows better. Sorry, but as someone else said "Better be safe than sorry" does not wash. -- Cheers, Paul B.
