Hi, I need a consultant to do the firmware-designs for two datalogger projects. The first project is a one channel datalogger, based on a PIC16LF873, contains a 8Mbit serial eeprom and a Crystal adc (SPI-type). Communication is done via RS232 to the PC. The firmware contains the following o ptions: 1. Start of recording time at once ar at any future time. 2. Stop of recording time at any future time 3. Measurement intervals: selectable between 1 second and 12 hours in 1 second s teps 4. Some routines for the cystal adc have to be written ( calibration options ) The hardware design is finished. The project should be finished before the end of this year. The second project is a 4 channel datalogger, also based on a PIC16LF873, contai ns 4x 16(or 32)Mbit serial eeproms and 4x 24bit adcs. This datalogger contains also a precision dgps receiver which acts also as a acc urate timing reference. Communication options are: 1. RS232 communication 2. RS485 communication 3. RS232 communication through a built-in gsm modem module. Some of the firmware options: 1. Start of recording at once or at any future time 2. Stop of recording at any future time 3. Standard Measurement intervals from 1 second to 12 hours in 1 second steps 4. Optional: Continous measuring on fastest speed possible 5. The position data of the gps module is recorded along with the measurement da ta. The hardware design is currently in progress and I might need some help on that too. If anybody is interested in either one of this projects, please contact me only privately at thomas@simnet.is Please include information about your knowledge- level ( experience ) on PIC- pr ogramming and some approx. payment expectations.
