Anyone out there ever implement IrDA on an PIC 8-bit chip, or any 8-bit chip
for that matter.  I am looking for an *extremely* thin client, like
something even less than IrDALite.  I was thinking there should be some
sample source code out there, if not for the PIC then at least 8051.
However, my search has been to no avail, and all the companies selling IrDA
protocol stacks are offering way more than I need and in the price range of
$15k.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.
