PICs used for medical and military use are more likely to
need approval by medics and military than 'tuther way
'round.  Been that route with a few things (aerospace stuff)
and it is very situational.  Flight certification is
necessary for some of the components, not others.

According to Microchip, they sent a PIC up attached to John
Glenn (16C73?). Monitored his innards.  Probably his innards
kept it warm (ewww...).
