Are you sure that the "regular" switch manufacturers don't have
them?  C&K maybe?

My NKK switch catalog is '95.  They have 0.5" wide, 1" long paddles
available.  Their M series, example, lot of variants, momentaries, etc.
 Example: their M15 TY A 03 -HA
