It's just awesome. I use Protel as well. My only real complaint is the bloody interface keeps changing..!!!!! with each new version. You just become slick at operating it when the next version bears only a faint resemblance to the previous. The documentation is like Microsofts... copious in quantity but next to useless... I find one has to work it out for ones self.. often turning out to be quite easy but unlike the previous version and the help only leads you off into the weeds. All whining aside... it works well and they had the intelligence to drop the parallel port dongle. That $US 5K price?.. I know we get a edu discount but Protel 98 cost us $NZ1000 ($US520) for the full version????
