hello all picsters,
 i am looking for a custom or very large stock steel
laminate torroid, and i was writing since im am having
a bit of a time finding someone who makes them...im
almost tempted to get a long strip of spring steel,
and do it myself! but, only as a last resort!
 so i was writing to see if any of you have any info
on where to find one of these bad boys, so i can buy a
core (i intend to wind it myself)
 also, any info you may have on winding your own
torroid, and the formulas pertaining to them would be
helpful too, as i am a "do-it-yourself" kind of guy, i
want to do my own math and wind this puppy myself...i
have a formula for the turns ration, but i think the
result was not right, due to my "area" of the torroid
being the wrong number, i figured out the area of the
inside of the torrus, not the torroid itself, thus
giving me a wrong number...
so any helpful info is appreciated!
