Most of what you need will be in there. Also look in the examples. I found a sample dumb terminal program listed under one or the other of these two topics that provided an excellent example of how to do two way communications. In a nutshell: set up the port for port number, baud rate, etc. if you are sending and receiving control characters (non-printing) be su re to set up for binary input mode. turn it on send something out. If you get really stuck, let me know and i can send some code snippets from a current program we are developing to talk to our loggers. Kelly William K.
