What are you writing in ?


in C something like this would quite happily write the data in any form.

        0x35, 0x18, 0xCE, 0x10,  0x3F, 0x86, 0x07, 0x8D,

};
...
open(com1, O_BINARY|O_RDWR,S_IWUSR);
...
write(com1, &data, sizeof(&data));
...
