The way to search on yahoo (and get decent results) is to look for

+marlin +jones -piclist

which would give pages with bothe the words marlin AND jones in it , in
contrast with -piclist which would not give the pages that had piclist on it

On AltaVista advanced text search it is even more fun to search you can do

(marlin near jones) and not piclist

which would give all pages where "marlin" is no more than a few words
separated from "jones" (I think 4) but does not contain "piclist"
