I am re-sending this message because I mistakenly added [OT] to the subject line last time. I thought since the message was about memory products and not PICs, it was off topic. -----Original Message----- From: Alan Travelbea Sent: Friday, September 24, 1999 11:45 AM To: 'PICLIST@MITVMA.MIT.EDU' Subject: [OT] Compiling an assembly file for a Microchip EEPROM Tool Used : MPLAB 4.12.00 Device: 24LC64 Serial EEPROM Hello, I am having difficulty compiling and linking a number of data files for programming onto a 24LC64 EEPROM. I have set the project type to 'Editor Only, 24LC64'. However, when I build, MPASM does not recognize this parameter. I have used the command line versions of MPASM with some success (using the EEPROM8 parameter), but I am curious to know if anyone else has done this successfully in the IDE, or if they have any tips to give on how to make this process a little less painful.
