Yep, just open a library with the right package (if it's not in the PIC.lbr) use the Group tool to select the whole thing and "Cut" it. NB: You must Cut as this is really copying in Windoze jargon (i.e. Copy don't go to Paste Buffer). Then go back to PIC.lbr, create new package. Paste in package, save and your done. Then you create new device, assign package, add symbol and link pads. Easy. On the Cadsoft site there is an Application note (App. Note 3 I believe) that goes through creating a new device by copying an existing one. I made a couple of devices from scratch (copied package) and that was real easy. Very nice interface. PIC.lbr much more efficient than similar library in Protel due to good logical\physical partitioning (i.e PICF84 and C84 are same actual schematic symbol just diff. devicew for new name).
