Hi Peter, I'm just assuming from his name and location(South Africa) that Tjaart is of Boer heritage. So, it would be a Dutch (or I guess,more precise,Afrikaans) name. In fact,if you look at his mail headers,you will see that the languages his mail program accepts are #1) af - Afrikaans, #2) en-GB (English as spoken/spelled in GB), #3) en-US (English as spoken/spelled in the US). I can now see that people must either have a REALLY short memory or just delete much of the OT mail,becuase I just asked Tjaart how to pronounce his name,a couple of weeks ago, right here on this list,and he answered me,saying it was like the english word "chart".
