Steve ! I carefully suggest that the Toshiba T6963C controller is a bit better, which in the end means that it is doing a lot of work for you. It is avaliable with most displays. I suggest you check out the Densitron homepage. You will find valuable info, even if you select another brand of LCD. Note the variuos controller descriptions. http://www.densitron.co.uk/product/lcd/graflcd/graflcd.htm Also have a look at Celestial Design http://celestial.ne.mediaone.net/ Did I say http://www.citilink.com/~jsampson/lcdindex.htm ? Why not at first ?? Steve Lawther has geat knowledge in this field, and also provides some code (you should provid him a tip if you use his code commertially). Look at http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/steve_lawther/t6963c.htm Sven in Sweden -----Ursprungligt meddelande----- FrŒn: Steven Kosmerchock Till: PICLIST@MITVMA.MIT.EDU Datum: den 13 september 1999 18:12 €mne: Re: PIC and a 240x64 LCD >David, > >David Blain wrote> It does NOT >have a built in controller > >I appreciate your info.
