Just to follow up on the Programmer discussion - we have updated the "El
Cheapo" programmer design on:

Version 3.1 will program EPROM parts as well as EEPROM/Flash.

The changes centre around adding a couple of silicon diodes (to shift the
+12 Volt Regulator's "Ground Reference" up by 1.4 Volts) and a PMOS FET
transistor to drive the reset voltage.

The addition of the PMOS transistor causes the reset logic to be
complemented, so the previous software will not work with this version.  The
"elcheapo.exe" software has also been modified to program EPROM parts (which
is a slightly different algorithm than what the EEPROM/Flash parts use).
