Hi friends, I am investigating about to the possibility to connect a PIC to a floppy disk controller connector for spare drive B. This approach permit direct connection between the PC and the PIC. On this connector are available, caming directly from H3F2 register two "pure" bits, the motor "A" and motor "B". I have make some trial to this bits and seems that can be used without apparent problems. But with only two line, I cannot make all what iI need to do. I need some other bits. I have see that the line DIR, STEP, and HEAD selec should be used. To use this line caming directly form the controller is necessary to understand very well how the "intel 82072" integrated on the motherboard works. Any suggestions?? Ciao Leo
