I'm having some difficulties with serial communication on a 16C77 based system. I'm using 9600 baud, BGRH set on a 20Mhz JW part. The production version is a OTP part. The receive routine is interrupt driven with a 80 byte buffer. The receive routine appears to be functioning, except that I'm often getting a bad character. The status is not indicating framing or overrun errors. It appears that the sampling is off a bit, an expected 0x36 was received as 0x66 (expected '3', got 'f'). I'm going to check to see what I remember about the BGRH bit and serial problems, but if any one has any suggestions, I'd be interested....
