Well, the way I see it, it's normal, and the other lists, being for non-engineering "types", aren't. (And the PIClist was probably the first to which I ever subscribed!) Knowing a copy of what I send is in my "sent" folder, it seems to me wasteful to get another copy back from the list. Nevertheless, many others violently disagree with this pragmatism and like to receive a copy for reassurance, to file in their PICList folder, or is it just to see themselves "in print"? The reassurance is not necessary. E-mail is *very* reliable - if it isn't, you really need to change your ISP. I've never had evidence of my messages failing to arrive (but then...). > I'm asking this, because I have send a few questions this weekend and > haven't received any answer yet. Oh dear. Well, the fact that you have received *at least* two answers so far to this posting indicates you are getting to the list, but I can't find any of your previous postings. I must presume I've deleted them as I didn't feel I was in a position to answer them. Presumably, everyone else felt the same. (Yes, quite a number subsequently found in the Trash.) Never mind, try again with the questions, include more detail of what you are trying to do. You sometimes have to get people interested in your project before they'll say "I like that idea" and jump in. If you *really really* are desperate for the extra e-mail, then yes, send a message to the list*SERVER* with SET PICLIST REPRO in the body (no title). -- Cheers, Paul B.
