Thanks for making a start on this, Paul.  I've altered push and pop to
wspush and wspop, as you suggest.

The formatting error was actually from my email program which simply
wrapped the lines.  Even so, I've pasted your reformatted code over mine.

Result: exactly the same - sorry.  Still flummoxed!

Dead right!!!  I haven't used *any* of this before.  I'm a newbie through
and through, my previous programming experience being Delphi and a bit of
VB.
