For all of those people that had a little confidence in me by purchasing those faulty 87x proto boards, sight unseen, it appears that users are getting the solder mask off the edge connectors very easily and tinning them OK. The DT106SMP boards have now been proven to the point of being able to be programmed (P16PRO and DT001) as a SimmStick from the edge connector, and using the 10 pin header for programming. The LCD bus has been written to OK (PICBasic PRO), so they are looking fine. (well apart from that solder mask problem) Still hundreds left, however there will be an end to them shortly. http://www.dontronics.com/dt106.html There will be a new board very soon. Final design will be checked out at our "Beer Night" this friday. (No wonder we got it wrong, it's all that damn beer) :-) Don McKenzie mailto:don@dontronics.com http://www.dontronics.com Don's Download Dungeon: http://www.dontronics.com/download.html Australian Electronics Ring http://www.dontronics.com/aering.html Win $500USD Cash.
