Hi, thank you for the answer. I am using the registered version of PicPro programmer from Bojan Dobaj, version 3.61. The programmer is a Tait-style, that Bojan suggests on his home page. I can program virtually all processors (of course, except the 16C5x family), also the 12C50x parts. However, when trying to write something into 16C505 and the programmer does the 1st readback test on-the-fly, it reports a mismatch. That happened for both OTP and JW parts. I have then tried to read the chip with the Parallax hobby programmer, and the said 1st word is in the memory! I have contacted also Bojan, but he does not know actually, too. Maybe I have a wrong PIC series? Thank you for the patience.
