Yep.  If you spend 20 hours trying to build a common part that can be had
for $3, that's called "experience" :)

My junkbox-transistor H-bridge isnt very pretty, and doesnt work very
well, so it's a "failure."  But, I learned a *lot*, so it's a Success!
