Sounds like you may be having the same problem I had a month ago.  I
needed a Phillips TDA4935 urgently as a replacement.  The rep could only

verify that it was a good part number but did not have it listed as a
standard part in their book.  It was for an amplifier made in Denmark.
Apparently it is a normal stocked part there, but not in the U.S.  I
looked ere everywhere and had to buy it from Denmark for $11.00 and
about
$80.00 shipping.
