The older PIC16C84 had 36 memory registers, while the 16F84 has 68 RAM
bytes. The F-devices have Flash program memory instead of EEPROM with lower
power consumption at low frequencies or standby. Memory size is the same
(1k).

The programming procedure is the same for C and F-devices.
