I got one of the aforementioned BGMicro Trimble GPS receivers.  The
documentation indicates the serial ports being "TTL Level", Using one of
the MAX chips it talks to the computer just fine.

If I want to talk to the USART port of a 16C63, what's needed?  Can I hook
directly?  Seems strange to hook a MAX to the pic and a MAX to the GPS.....
