I've repeatedly offered to do this. I've gotten resounding silence. I'm obviously not going to set up a new list to compete with the existing one. It's too bad, because the mailing list software I use (qmail/ezmlm) has an essentially foolproof means of preventing duplicate posts due to bounces or loops. I am very appreciative of MIT offering the use of their LISTSERV for many years now, but it seems like moving to a more modern server would have a lot of advantages. Maybe we can write a list manager to run on an 18C series PIC. :-)
