Actually, the compression is about the same on either the web-based install
or the full 7 disks.  It's just that the web-based install only downloads
the data you specify.  As I said in a previous post, you can use it to go
back and get more elements of MPLAB later.  The web-based has 256K
overhead for downloading the installer, but in almost every case except
for a full install of all MPLAB components, it's probably going to be
faster than downloading the full compressed, but still 9M, of MPLAB.
