Now that the subject has come up. I have some 6V sealed lead acid batteries from the kids Power Wheels cars that are getting weak. I have seen some advertizing and searched pat ents on pulsing lead acid batteries to eliminate plate sulfation. I don't think that this charge s the batteries rather just cleans the plates. I am interested in finding the pulse voltage, fre quency and duration needed to rejuventate lead acid batteries. I figure a PIC could control it nicely. I only plan to use it to save the power wheels batteries and maybe my cars not developi ng a product. As a side note. One of the 'brilliant' engineers here used a 12V supply with cro wbar to charge his old car battery. Wasn't he suprised when the battery hit 12V. Needless to say he is a manager now.
