For some really useful stuff in real time display's look at http://www.instrument.com in their visual designer software (demo available) they have some highly customizable display modules panel meters, bar graphs, scope, chart and x-y plotters. To bad they are in dll form and no info is available to make them work outside their environment I have made some pretty nifty compact disc tilt testers with these.
