Ok Folks, I really enjoy reading the technical messages--its how I learn--and pass back what I know when it is appropriate. Many thanks to those who have responded to my requests for help. I have one absolute rule with my employees and business associates: Sex, Politics and Religion are anathema in the work-place. Period. No Discussion. What you do on your own time is your business but the minute it impinges on a business/technical tool--such as a list nominally aimed at technical issues--it severely impacts the usefulness of the tool, and the willingness of knowledgeable people to participate. Enough is enough. Out of 98 messages I downloaded this morning, less than twenty appeared to be topics related to this list. I try to conserve bandwidth and not waste any one else's time--and really do ask that everyone on the list respect the purpose of the list--to provide a technical forum for exchanging practical, experiential knowledge. It also bothers me when I accidently spot a real technical jewel that provided insight into a problem I am having in a message labeled "OT"--that would ordinarily be trashed unread because of the OT in the subject. Please, if any of you want to take issue with what I have said here--or with any of the authors of the OT material--please do it directly to the person involved, and OFF THE LIST. Lets not start a whole new thread on this issue. Thanks, Kelly **************************************************************************** ******** All legitimate attachments to this email will be clearly identified in the text. William K.
