Hi all, I am sure some of you
must have built Bojan Dobaj's Pic programmer "Picall".
This programmer has worked fine
for me with 16F84's so far but I am having problems
getting it to work reliably
with the Atmel micros. The 90S8515 and 2313's work ok most
of
the time but occasionally the
software reports micros as not verifying properly, not blank
(suggesting
I have a 0000 at address 0000
when I know these bits are FFFF, or sometimes I get
an "unknown micro" error
msgs.
The only way I can fix this
problem seems to be by doing a reboot of Windows (98).
I can not get the programmer to
recognise AT90S1200 micros at all.
I have e-mailed Bojan but he is
away until 8th August so I ask any of you with the PICALL if
you have had this
problem?
PS. I am not using a switch
box. I was and while I found the 16C84 chips to program no
problems
with a switch box in line, the
Atmels wont work at all so have removed it but still no joy.
Cheers ..
Bob
