All lib source is included, freely downloadable, as is the manual. A ready-to-go module (chip, crystal, etc) is US$45/ea, and the raw chip is $16 in singles. Development station is $36-$90, depending on how much you want to build. I bought the $90, plus a dev board with regulator etc, and have been *very* happy with it. - j
