Welcome back Tjaart!  I know little about South Africa, but recall
watching SA television reporting the election results years ago.  One of
the networks here had (maybe still does?)  an overnight news program.
For about 30 minutes they rebroadcast a broadcast from SA.  It was pretty
interesting.  In the past few weeks, the National Public Radio program
This American Life broadcast a segment on someone from the US going back
to SA to visit a distant cousin.  The program should be available at
http://www.thislife.org .  It's titled something about "going home."
Interesting view of life in SA...  just the view of a couple people.
