  Are we all rednecks on this list?  OK, so be it.

  (A couple of weeks back our home was egged on two separate nights,
late at night and in one case, during rain!  There's been a lot of rain
lately mind you.  I'm not overly worried about that; it's negligible
damage, bio-degradable and my son and I had a fairly entertaining time
removing *most* of it with the water lance.  The perps were I think
responsible on the second occasion, for a "bang" of moderate loudness
which has me puzzled, and may have broken off a shrub or it may have
been borers.  It's just not nice to be nervous.)
