I need to implement a comparative function in an optical receiver design. I have looked at National's LMX11 series ICs and they suit my needs. In their datasheets, they suggest a couple of circuits to use which involve a single power supply. The objective is to feed an attenuated TTL signal into the comparator and be able to come out with a good and clear match. Could you give me some suggestions as to which type of circuit to use? If there is another chip which is much better than LM311, please suggest. Thanks! Wilson
